Happy Friday!
I am so glad it's Friday! Here is a simple card using a flower image from Stampin' up. It is colored with copics BG10, 11 & 13 and YG03 & 05. I die cut it with a spellbinder label die, the scallop is stamped with BB dots from PTI in and cut out using a spellbinders borderablities die. The background on the kraft is stamped in an aqua color with a hero arts swirl border stamp.
I am looking forward to a fun weekend with all my boys! Looks like we may get some rain which will be nice for all my veggies we are growing. Yesterday we staked up our tomatoes and peppers and I noticed my zuccinni is already starting to grow! Can't wait for my DH fried zuccini sticks, they are so good! I wanted to also Thank everyone for your kind wished on our new addition it means a lot to me. Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Special day card and some news!
This is another card birthday card for Hero Arts monthly challenge, you can never have too many birthday cards! It was stamped in Memento Ink, colored with copics BV02, BV04 and YG93 & YG95. (someday I am going to remember to snap a picture of the colors I use) I overstamped script in Distressed Bundle Sage, then cut out using a circle nestie die. The background was embossed and attached to Memory Box PP. and then a purple cardstock. The sentiment was stamped then die cut and attached using a Making Memory finding clip to the ribbon.
On a personal note, I have some exciting news to share, I am expecting my 3rd child in late Oct/early Nov. With the first trimester over, I am finally feeling more energetic! My oldest is very excited he is such a big help, the litte one has no idea what we are talking about and I can forsee a difficult time for him. He is a total Momma's boy, with Owen he was all about Daddy. So when Wyatt was born he didn't care if I was all consumed by feeding and caring for the baby. Now if Daddy had the baby it was another story! It is exciting and scary adding a new addition to our family. But they grown so fast I can hardly believe Owen is 7, and before I know it they will all be grown. I love being a Mom, it is the best thing I have ever done, and also the hardest.

Many, many thanks
This is my second entry for the Gallery idol 2010, thank you contest. I have been trying to use some older stamps as I think they are feeling neglected. This is one from Stampin' up, I love coloring it. I stamped in black memento, and colored with copics RV10,11 and 13. I overstamped a writing stamp from hero arts in bundled sage, the sentiment is from hero arts and the background is embossed using the cuttlebug.
There is rain all around us right now and so far we have only gotten a sprinkle. It seems like we live in a hole that gets missed too often! I am spending today trying to catch up on some chores around the house, (would rather be stamping) but have to keep things up! Hope everyone has a great Monday!

New dies
I was so excited when my friend a.k.a the Enabler told me AC Moore finally had new stuff in their craft section! I love being able to use coupons to save some money! I can see I will be visiting there more often until I collect the new stuff I want. I bought the new Sizzix dies, tattered flowers and the flourish one that are designed by Tim Holtz. I cut the flower and stamped with a large background stamp from Hero Arts in Orange Marmalade and distressed with Wild Honey, the flourish is cut then stamped with bundled sage a polka dot background stamp from PTI. The sentiment is from PTI stamped and cut and attached with twine.
My DH was away turkey hunting in VA, so it was just the boys and I Thurs-Sun. I try to make it fun when he goes away. We go to the grocery store and get snacks and fun stuff for dinners, bake cookies and watch movies. I also try to keep the boys busy so they sleep really good too! We went to the South Topsail on Sat., packed a picnic lunch and played all day in the sand and water. We had a blast, this summer will be so much fun I love the beach! Wyatt was most interested in the seaweed and trying to scare the girls next to us! The water was a little too cold for me still, but the boys both seemed to enjoy it!

Asian inspired birthday
My oldest Owen has been home all week with a mystery virus, of just high fever and all over body aches. They said it just has to run it's course, and thankfully today he woke up with no fever, so I am just praying it doesn't spread to the rest of us! Today since he is still banned from school due to the 24 hour w/o fever rule, he has been enjoying the day playing and feeling better! While we were outside letting our birds out this a.m., we found a little time to work in the office. I made this card for the Hero Arts monthly contest: Birthdays, Dads and Grads. I decided to pull out some older hero arts stamps, I stamped them then trimmed into smaller squares. The images are colored with copics YG93, 95 , B91 and 93 and copic spica in clear for the dragonfly wings. The background is stamped in versamark with a bamboo image stamp, and the sentiment is stamped directly on the cardstock.

Three Sunflowers
I made this card for the gallery idol challenge, the first challenge is to make a Thank you card. This card is with the Hero Arts new sunflower stamp. I stamped in black ink and colored with copics, the butterfly was stamped and also colored with copics then cut out. The PP is from Cosmo Cricket (i think), and the sentiment is from PTI. Today is the first day of the sneak peaks for PTI http://www.nicholeheady.typepad.com/capture_the_moment/ . Every month I think there will not be things I must have, but they continue to create such a wonderful array of products. This month they have a new color green, I love green so I must have this! They also have a cute hot air balloon set that looks neat! They have a great design team that highlights their new releases from the 10th-14th, I love seeing all the creative ideas! If you haven't already you should check them out.
I hope everyone had a wonderful Mother's Day, our was busy as usual! My in-laws came down for a quick visit to see Owen play his last soccer games. Then we went out to eat at a Hibachi restaurant Sat. for Mother's Day. It has been years since Owen has been to one and he really enjoyed it, the chef was great with the kids. Wyatt was interested in it until the fire, I wish I had my camera on him so I could have caught his reaction. All I got was his movement as he jumped out of his chair right into my lap. I am grateful that he recovers quickly from stuff though, within a few minutes he was back to eating his ginger salad and noodles. Both boys did really good and we were all able to eat our meals without having to take a break with the little one. Sunday started off well, until Owen came down with a fever, it wouldn't be Mother's Day without someone not feeling well. I kept him home today as he still is running a fever, but no other symptoms. Once he gets the Tylenol, he is back to being his crazy self. Hope everyone has a great Monday!

Caardvarks monochromatic challenge
I finally had some time to play with the new hero arts florals in shapes and came up with this card. I stamped the images in Spring Moss and cut out then attached to an embossed die cut. The background is an older hero arts stamp stamped tone-on-tone with Spring moss again. The sentiment from PTI was stamped and attached to the die cut that was also embossed and attached with PTI ribbon. I love to collect ribbon, but find I hardly ever use it on cards. However; these die cut from spellbinders makes it a perfect place to use some of that ribbon I love to admire!
We had a busy day today, soccer till 12, then a roller skating birthday party for one of Owen's friends on his soccer team. It was pretty funny watching him try skating for the first time, he just needs some practice! I am just thankful we had no injuries! Wyatt even tried to get out there with a pair of huge skates! Before I knew what he was doing he had them on and was about to go right into the sea of falling children! Looking forward to a quiet day tomorrow!
