Card is stamped with distressed inks, shabby shutters, broken china and tumbled glass. Background stamp and text on butterfly are from Hero Arts. Can’t be sure who the sentiment is I think Hero Arts, but it has a permanent home in my lost and found clear stamps. I am entering this into the May birthday challenge at Hero Arts. Today after spending some time purging and cleaning my craft room I spent some time crafting. It’s been awhile since I have felt inspired and it feels good to create a few cards that I am excited about.
The weather is turning warm here, so I am trying to get the little ones outside early to enjoy the cooler part of the day. Our flower gardens are doing well right now, now I just have to keep up with the watering. I have planted a few tomato plants, eggplant and squash. I also have tons of fresh herbs that are doing really well. We decided to forgo the large garden in the field this year for two reasons one my DH has been way to busy to prepare it and two we got very little out of it after the deer, chickens, guineas, turkey and bugs ate it. It is very discouraging to spend all that time and work for nothing. I am hoping by next year to have a fenced area that we can work.
Thanks for stopping by have a wonderful day!
love that background and the butterflies. Good luck in the challenge and with the purging!!
