Distressed Birthday card

I watched one of Stamp Tv's videos that used the technique that I haven't used in awhile. I love my copics so much I hardly ever use any other types of coloring tools. I decided I needed some variation so I pulled out my distressed inks! I stamped a script stamp in a light brown on manilla cardstock. Then I stamped the grass in versamark and embossed in clear. I cut out the images with a spellbinder die then I added scattered straw, dried marigold and finally wild honey until it was blended to my liking. The sentiment is stamped in dark chocolate and blended with the same distressed inks. The background is embossed and finally I added some twine under the sentiment.  Thanks for stopping by!

  1. Great colors - like watching a field of grass waving under a setting sun.

The embossing folder is great for this card.

  2. Love this, Tanya! Wonderful texture, not only on the card base, but behind the stamped images as well! :)
