My inspiration for this card was from a place we use to go when I lived in Maryland. My grandparents had a summer house there in Chesapeake Isle and we use to spend time there during the summer. I have such fun memories of playing with my cousins at the beach, and exploring Turkey Point and the lighthouse there. We use to have some wicked games of badminton too! : ) On the drive out to the summer house, along the road were tons of the wild orange daylilies. They were so pretty, and to this day they are still my favorite color.
This card started off by embossing on cream cardstock in clear, and then coloring the image with copics, Then I covered the image with versamark and spritz the image with some glimmer mist in orange tones and embossed again with clear. I repeated this several time until I was satisfied with the look. The background was stamped using hero hues in poppy, and then misting with the glimmer mist again. Thanks for stopping by, your comments are so appreciated!
Beautiful card, Tanya, and thanks for sharing that memory......most of my favorite ones involve my grandparents, too!
